Discover Elindra's daily yoga routine: 7 minutes to revitalize body and mind with the 5 Tibetans.

In our society where time is precious and mental health is essential, a short but intense yoga practice can be the perfect solution for finding balance. Discover how this approach can reshape your body and soothe your mind, leaving you feeling calm and revitalized.

Every morning, I carefully select my yoga clothes . I slip into my high-waisted leggings and tank top from the Ultimcomfort 7 range, made of Tencel, an exceptionally soft and, above all, eco-friendly fabric. Choosing the right outfit is essential for a successful yoga practice. It helps me prepare mentally for an enriching and calming session.

" What I appreciate most is the softness of the Tencel fabric against my skin, offering unparalleled comfort during my sessions. The combination of the Tencel's softness and the flattering cut of the high-waisted leggings creates the ideal environment for a harmonious yoga practice. " Sabine V.

Once ready, I unroll my mat in my living room and begin by doing a series of exercises called the "Five Tibetans ." The Five Tibetans are a series of dynamic yoga exercises, particularly effective for strengthening abdominal muscles while promoting mental relaxation. Also known as the "Fountain of Youth," the Five Tibetans are a series of exercises meant to be practiced daily to promote health and vitality. These exercises consist of five specific movements performed in a precise order, designed to stimulate the body's vital energy, strengthen muscles, and improve flexibility .

  • The circle: The first movement involves turning the body in a circular motion, extending the arms laterally.
  • The candle: lying on your back, the second movement consists of raising your legs upwards while lifting your head.
  • The half-moon: Kneeling, toes flexed, inhale and tilt your torso back slightly to look at the sky.
  • The bridge: The fourth movement consists of forming an inverted table position, with the body supported by the hands and feet, and the hips raised towards the sky.
  • Downward-facing dog and upward-facing dog: The latter movement is a variation of downward-facing dog in traditional yoga. It involves forming an inverted V with the body, placing the hands and feet on the ground and lifting the hips upwards.

Finally, I allow myself a moment of meditation to calm my mind and connect with my breath. This morning routine allows me to start my day with energy and clarity of mind , ready to face whatever life throws my way.

Before discovering this practice, I worked out at the gym two to three times a week. Since incorporating the Five Tibetan Rites into my routine, I've noticed a significant improvement in my muscle tone. The dynamic exercises in this series of movements have strengthened my abdominal and core muscles more effectively than my previous fitness sessions. This physical and mental transformation has convinced me of the effectiveness and value of the Five Tibetan Rites in my daily fitness routine.

I strongly encourage you to seek further information if you have any questions regarding the exercises presented in the article.

Good practice!

Elindra
